Financial Methods

DreamSTATE Akron Studio accepts the following payment methods:

  • Debit / Credit Card
  • PayPal
  • Electronic Invoice Payment
  • Cash (local arrangements only)

Checks are accepted only for deposits and project scheduling will not begin until funds have cleared.

Payment Requirements

All production services are billed on a project basis unless otherwise specified in writing.

Payment is typically required prior to delivery of final mastered or mixed files. New clients or large projects may require partial or full payment in advance before work begins.

A non-refundable project deposit of 25% or a minimum of $75, whichever is greater, is required to secure scheduling and begin project intake.

Deposits compensate for project planning, file review, scheduling, and administrative preparation.

Project Scope and Scheduling

DreamSTATE Akron Studio operates as a remote production service and does not offer in-person recording sessions or facility bookings.

Project timelines are based on scope, revision requirements, and scheduling availability. Estimated turnaround times are provided but are not guaranteed delivery deadlines unless contractually specified.

Project scope includes:

  • Mixing
  • Mastering
  • Production finishing
  • File preparation for distribution

Additional work beyond the originally agreed scope may require revised pricing or timeline adjustments.

Revision Policy

Each project includes a reasonable revision period intended to address technical adjustments and mix refinement.

Revisions do not include:

  • Song rewriting
  • Arrangement restructuring
  • Additional production beyond finishing
  • New material added after project approval

Excessive or extended revision requests may be billed at an additional rate.

Remote Workflow

Clients are responsible for providing properly prepared and labeled audio files in industry-standard formats.

DreamSTATE Akron Studio is not responsible for:

  • Editing poorly prepared source recordings
  • Repairing corrupted or incomplete files
  • Reconstructing missing session data

File transfer methods and formatting requirements will be provided during project intake.

Ownership and Delivery

All mixes, masters, and related deliverables remain the property of DreamSTATE Akron Studio until invoices are paid in full.

Final deliverables are released upon receipt of full payment unless alternate terms are documented in writing.

Data and Storage

Clients assume all risks associated with storing, transmitting, or archiving audio or digital session data.

DreamSTATE Akron Studio does not guarantee long-term storage of client files or project sessions. Clients are responsible for maintaining backup copies of all project materials.

DreamSTATE Akron Studio is not liable for data loss resulting from:

  • Hardware failure
